For those who want to get more out of their Sony A100 DLSR, Gary Friedman has written up an eBook titled “The Complete Guide to Sony’s Alpha 100 Digital SLR Camera.” The book can be downloaded for $20 or ordered in a black and white or color version. Friedman has written books on the Minolta 7D as well as the Canon Digital Rebel XT series.

The A100 book is not a rehash of the Sony manual. Instead it give explanations of each of the functions and helps in getting the best photo’s out of the camera. Friedman gives a whole chapter on the wireless flash system, as well as an appendix section devoted to special shooting situation, such as fireworks, waterfalls, and the moon. The book is great for beginner as well as advanced photographers who are new to the Sony Alpha system.
